The Book Design Studio of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Music University of Ostrava announce the third year of the international competition BookVision. Submit your work in one of three categories: artist's book, book-object and other media and become a part of unique project, that presents and connects the book work of young artists from many countries of the world.
BookVision is a competitive show in which can participate Czech and foreign students of universities of art and faculties of education. This project is a platform for more comprehensive reflection, confrontation and presentation of the artist's book and its overlaps. It provides an overview of the relevance and development of this medium among the young generation in an international comparison.
BookVision is the only competition of its kind and every year the number of registered students from various corners of the world increases.
Submit applications via website bookvision.info by March 1st 2024.
Entries will be judged by an expert jury, which will select one winning work of art in each category and a shortlist of artworks for an exhibition to be held at the Faculty of Fine Arts Gallery, University of Ostrava in May 2024.
