Our world is illegible, unintelligible, unclear...

Postprism presents the artwork of different generations. Within this project, the viewer has the opportunity to perceive a complex framework of visual expressions in a wide range of current aspects as well as traditional perspectives of the Central European art scene.

Postprism challenges us to think about the world in the context of ‘multiple meanings’. The works presented in the Postprism exhibition do not aspire to be seen and understood in a single possible and definitive concept.

The works on display are a critical accentuation of complex social relations. They are also an invitation to view the world empathetically in the hope to appreciate contexts of new and surprising values.

...but there are those among us who have an extraordinary ability to anticipate and foresee key semantic implications only moments before we can even think of them as such.

Often these prophets are the artists who illuminate phenomena that did not become significant to their contemporaries until much later, and often it was their generational successors who gradually got to the roots of problems that had been obscure to their predecessors.
