About the Department of Vocal Studies

The Vocal Studies program enables graduates to find employment within the scope of the following artistic activities:

  • as opera or operetta soloists or members of theatrical ensembles
  • as members of professional concert choirs or chamber ensembles
  • as teachers of vocal performance for all types of art schools providing full primary, secondary, higher and college-grade education, including secondary music schools
  • as art and production workers in public musical and cultural institutions, radio, television, concert agencies, record companies, etc.

Each student’s personal curriculum is based on their previous vocal training taking account of their individual level of progress. An individual curriculum is tailored to the student’s skills and vocal type, in accordance with the accredited Bachelor and Master of Art degree programmes of the  Faculty of Fine Arts and Music.
